This past november 30th, the MAQLAB Group, with support from IFToMM, celebrated the 5th Students International Olympiad on Mechanism and Machine Science. This fifth installment follows a time of great change in education because of the pandemic. It followed the previous ones in Izhevsk State Technical University (ISTU), Izhevsk, Russia in 2011, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China in 2013, Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Madrid, Spain in 2016 and Pontificia Universidad Católica, Lima, Peru in 2018.
